Opera 9 is a web browser made by Opera Software ASA. With that being said it is like Mozilla Firefox and the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Pros: Opera's Speed Dial - I find this feature very useful as you can use it for bookmarks or for quick surfing. I can now surf through my favorite site with one quick click and without going to the address bar.
Opera 9's efficiency - Unlike the Firefox that can be slow or hang at times. Opera 9 takes up small of your memory and is very smooth and starts up very quick like the Internet Explorer. You won't experience lag time booting up Opera 9 unlike the Firefox.
Opera 9's security - I also like its pop-up blockers and the security it gives to your PC. In Mozilla some pop-ups pass through its blocker. But with my experience with Opera 9 no pop ups ever came out with out my authority.
CONS- Site Connectivity - What I hate about Opera 9 is its unavailability to some sites. Example, the web messenger of yahoo using a web browser. Opera 9 got some errors with it.
Final remarks: It is a good software. But there is a reason why it is not popular. It is because it doesn't support all kinds of websites. But with that said, there are only a few that it has errors with. But this can be a hassle to some. IT IS WORTH A TRY
